Samiam - Whatever’s Got You Down

After Samiam’s release of Astray back in 2000, the band disbanded and went their separate ways. Or so we thought. When tours started popping up here or there with “SAMIAM,” fans everywhere wondered what was happening. Finally, the band announced that they were busy working on a new album entitled Whatever’s Got You Down. The news came as excitement for me, although it seemed like many kids in the AbsolutePunk boards didn’t even know who Samiam was. (more…)

Shot Down Sun - The Human Design

Shot Down Sun has received some well-earned attention lately in the Massachusetts/New Hampshire music scene, and I was left wondering why that was so because I hadn’t even heard of the band before they started getting on a bunch of shows in the venues I shoot photos at. Instantly Faded - Instantly Faded EP

New Hampshire has been the incredible birthplace of a lot of crazy bands lately, and Instantly Faded is a young band to come out. The band comes in the shadows of bands like And Then There Were None, Our Last Night, Always And Forever, and Armor For The Broken, but that didn’t stop them from recording a self-titled EP and begin making a name for themselves. Guns Up! - Outlive

Plain White T’s - Every Second Counts

For fans of pop-punk and catchy rock alike, Plain White T’s offers very radio-friendly pop-punk to the crowds who enjoy Fall Out Boy, The Starting Line, and even less-known bands like The Audition.
