Rest in Peace…. Dominic Mallary of Last Lights
For all of you who knew Last Lights, you knew the intensity and passion Dom brought to every show. I saw the band finally last night after hearing so much about them. I was blown away, and I made it a point to say that I would be at their show tomorrow, and any shows after I could make it to. I saw huge potential in that band going places quickly in the Boston scene and beyond.
But earlier today, Dom passed away. Please send out all your prayers to Dom’s family, band members, loved ones, and friends. He was an inspiration for many, and he shall be remembered always.
My photos from last night will remain up for those who want to see their last show documented. It was a bit creepy for me to look through at first, but already people are starting to comment photos as a memorial to Dom. Out of respect for those who have commented and the band, the photos will remain up. RIP Dominic Mallary.
Photos from his two performances I did photos of are below:
Last Lights at Boston University – December 4th, 2008.
Eva Braun at Northeastern University – April 20th, 2006.

The intent of the project is to document the hardcore punk seen in and around Boston, Ma. This body of work seeks to explore punk rock as both a lifestyle and a genre of music by photographing those involved and the places where they live, work, or practice. [...]
